In the disco

My younger brother is now in for recording his rap music. In fact, he made few recordings already in some local bands in the city. He likes joining some FM radio contest in connection to his talent, which is singing. He joined some clubs in some FM station in city that build some friendship in some DJ's at the station. Keep going in those stations is now the bridge that he can record some songs that he composed. HE started to know how to use it and started to familiarize what DJ use. One time, he was invited by his clan mates to join their disco. They promise that they free my brother for the disco's entrance, so without any doubt, he agreed. And there, the music was loud, but it's nice to listen on their earns. Music played was all nice that makes me dance and groove. And he noticed what the DJ use while the disco is going on. It's a m-audio fast track ultra 8r that he saw on the net. He was amazed, the mixing of the music was really great. And it can record multiple sources simultaneously.

Blinds for my window

My windows in my room is too low that is very easy to reach by kids. Mostly if I open my jealousy windows, then kids get curious what stuff I have in my room. Sometimes they check if I play some computer games or so. It irritate me that they keep watching my room, that's the reason I often close my windows. My cousin came through my room and he complained that it's warm and asked me why I did not open my window. So I explain to him the reason and he understands it. He suggested to me that better I use a blinds that will cover up my window. So if I open my window, there some blinds that covers up. Therefore, kids cannot easily see through the inside of my room. My cousin's idea was good and now I'm looking for a Cheap Vertical Blinds that I can put on my window. Hopefully I can find it soon.

Online shopping

Last week, I was busy surfing through the net some online stuff that I want purchase. I enjoy doing some online shopping because I find it so easy and handy. No more hassle waiting in a long line cashier especially at this time that Christmas season is almost approaching. I sometimes buy some stuff in the other side of the world and I always calculate it in the currency that I use. And recently, I came across an online store that sell shoes. Wow! I’m fasciated with the shoes they have and I’m so lucky that they have my size. I mostly have some problems in buying shoes here in the store because my 35 size is difficult to find. It looks so ugly if I buy a sandal which doesn’t fit on my size. The shoes that I like cost in pound and I don’t know it by head how much I pay if I buy it using my euro currency. Luckily, there are sites that can calculate from Pound to Euro in just few seconds. Now I know I much I need to spend in euro in purchasing the shoes that I like.

Updating each other

A friend of mine who used to be my high school and college classmates had a long talked on the phone yesterday. We both got an e-mail from one of our classmates in High school who organize the upcoming reunion of our batch. And so we both discuss if we can attend it at that time. Since both of us are living in the other city, so we both can't promise if we can join. However, if I'm given a chance, then I would love to join the reunion. I miss my high school classmates and that's the online time that we can hang up together. I encourage my friend too that she would join because the previous reunion that we had, she's not there. At least for me, I was present in the first and second reunion, but it would be a lot of fun if there are many classmates that would join.

Aside in talking about the reunion, my classmates told me about her recent experience when they went on the boat holiday in Europe. She had a wonderful time and she enjoyed it a lot. She encouraged me too to try it with my husband. So I just see, her story and experience seems very interesting. So maybe I will ask my husband that we spend some time to do some boat holiday.

Acoustic guitar lesson

Most of the time, I heard my younger brother playing his guitar. I really likes it when he played his guitar because I enjoy listening it. Mostly he played some well-known love songs and it's so great to listen especially at night. It's so quiet and the only music I hear is the acoustic guitar that my younger brother played. My brother has many talents and one of the talents that he loves most is playing guitars. In the family, he is the only one who can play some musical instruments. I remembered that he started to like some musical instrument when my papa bought a guitar. It's not really for him, but for the whole family. However, he was the one who got interest to learn on how to play it. Months passed by, my sister and I are planning to enroll an acoustic guitar lessons. We just can't start to learn because we are both busy. So when things goes smooth and easy with our schedules then for sure we can start to enroll already.

My Amnesia Girl (2010)

One of the movie that I look forward to watch before end of this month is the "My Amnesia Girl". The main cast of this movie is Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz. It's their first time to be on the movie together. So I'm excited to see them on the big screen.

Here's a short summary about the movie

When Apollo finds himself surrounded by friends who are beginning to settle down, he is faced with the possibility of finding his true love. It all boils down to one name: Irene. It must be fate then, when he once again sees Irene, his ex-girlfriend from three years ago with whom he had the best memories with. Apollo and Irene were a perfect couple until circumstances led them to fall apart.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

My flight from Philippines to Holland took about 13 hours, phu., long hours isn't it? Well, those long hours I spent on playing some games and of course watching some movies. One of the movies I watched was is "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". Hubby was next to me and he encouraged me to watch that because it's a good movie. He saw the movie already and so he knows that its a good one. A movie that he can recommend not just to me, but to anyone. After watching the movie, I can say that yeah, hubby was right, it's a good movie. My time wasn't waste in watching because I had a great time.

Summy of the Movie:

Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Disappointed with the movie I watch

Two days ago, we watched the movie entitled "The Last Exorcism" at the cinema. Hubby and I did not check it through the net what kind of movie it was, we only watch the poster. It looks scary in the poster and so we think the movie was scary too. However, when we watched it, we were disappointed because it's something that we did not expect. We thought it's a movie with many actions, but it some sort of documentary. Not much action, but it's more on talking.

Bedroom furniture

Hubby and I are planning to renovate our room, making it nicer than before. I feel so excited with this plan because I know after renovating we will do some changes in our room. We are planning to buy a new bedroom furniture to replace the old one that that we have. The old bedroom furniture that we have is already few years old. We notice that it's not nice and not comfortable anymore to use. And so we come up to an idea to replace it with new furniture. It takes long for us to decide what kind of furniture that we like. There are many kinds of bedroom furniture that you can buy in some store, but none of them that we like most. We want something to be unique, something that it makes us feel that we are having a vacation in a tropical place. Rustic furniture is one of the best furniture that we like most. So hope we can find that soon *wink*.

Comfortable outdoor chair

I'm so happy that again, I became part of the family vacation of my in-laws. Hubby and I were invited to join their vacation a few months ago. We went to the southern part of NL to visit some tourist spots. We rent a house that we can use for the whole week of stay. It's such a good place that we stayed because it's so quiet and the only thing you heard was the singing of the birds. Isn't that a good feeling that when you woke up in the morning, you don't hear the noise of cars or trucks. It's far from the main highway so it's really nice, very relaxing feeling. I'm just enjoying the overlooking view of the mountain. Anyway, we did a lot of activity in our vacation, we go there and everywhere that was close by to us. Every day new things to do and so when we're back home it's was so tiring already. So we just took some rest using some outdoor chairs that the house provided with us. We sit outside the house and just enjoying the overlooking view, waiting until the sunset came. We can sit in that chair for long because it's very comfortable.

I bought this domain yesterday evening and wow, this morning it redirects my old URL to my new domain. Isn't that fast? Anyway, I'm just happy that my 4th blog has it own domain now. Sarah G: Entertainer of the Year at the 23rd Aliw Awards

Congratulations to Sarah Geronimo for another accomplishment that she achieves. I know that she deserved this entertainer of the year award. Sarah is one of the artists in our local industry that I could say a role model for the youth. During her acceptance speech, Sarah said that she wants to dedicate this award to her idol Michael Jackson.

The singer-actress performed a medley of heartfelt love songs and for her encore, she performed "Ikaw ang Pangarap."

Movie : RED

Hubby just finished watching this movie entitled Red. RED stands for Retired, Extremely, Dangerous. He encouraged me to watch this because according to him, it’s a good movie that he can recommend to me. Aside that it’s a good movie, he knows I like Bruce Willis, his one of my favorite actors. I saw some of his movies, and I can say that it’s all worthy to watch.

Bruce Willis plays retired CIA operative Frank Moses in the new action/comedy Red. He is on the run when a non-retired CIA covert team attempts to assassinate him. His solution is to reassemble his old team of aging veterans to figure out why.

I’m so happy to know that finally the young superstar in Philippine industry Mrs. Judy Ann Santos Agoncillo finally delivered her baby boy. A few weeks ago, it was on the news the false information that she delivered a baby and this time, it’s confirmed already. As one of their supporters, I’m so happy that everything goes okay for her delivery. I’m sure they are very happy for having an additional angel in their family. It’s a cute baby boy and I’m looking forward to see their baby on TV soon.

Halloween Costumes Ideas

Yesterday evening, my aunt and her son visited us. I heard from her about the Halloween disco party of her son that will be held in school. And so I asked the kid if he knew this kind of party. He was very talkative that is why I enjoy talking to him. He was very vocal explaining to me what the upcoming party was all about. Well, he had some point in his explanation because he had some idea already about the party. It's not the first time that he joined this Halloween costume party, but his second time. And so his excited that even it still few months to go, he already planned what costumes he wants to wear. My aunt wants to be well prepaid this time for the upcoming Halloween for her son. And so she asked us if we have some awesome Halloween costumes ideas. A costume that is simple but unique. Though, the kid was very vocal that he wants to wear some scary mask costumes. So well see it when the party comes.

Elegant furniture

Recently, a friend of mine just moved to their new house and she invited me to visit her. It was my first time to visit in her new house and I like how she arranged all her stuff. The wall color was nice it makes the house looks neater because of the painted wall. Since some of their furniture doesn't look nice anymore, they couple decided to purchase some brand new Furniture such as dining table and living room. My friend asked me if I like the design of their new furniture. And without any pause I directly say Yes, I like it because it really looks nice. She smiled to me and said that she's the one who choose for the design. So I praised her that she has a good taste in choosing an elegant furniture.

Power tools

My uncle who has been working for many years in a construction encountered some problems in his power tools. Some of it did not function so well and it bothered him because it's the hindrance in his work. Well, for sure if we encountered this kind of problem, it also starts to annoy us. Like we want everything to be done fast, but due to some reason that we can't finish it as we expected because of the certain problems. Luckily last week, he finally got a new power tools and it made him so happy. He can start working again. Everything goes smooth and easy. And another thing that made him happy was the present that he got from his sister. Guess what it was, it's a new drills and saw that he can use for his work. Wow! He got few latest things and it made him feel so happy. He set aside now his old stuff and preferred to use the new one.

I just finished watching Iron Man 2 here in my room and I like it. The storyline was great and many actions. Just one word I can say, awesome! Reminiscing the past celebration

Few months to go then its Christmas time again. Wow, time fly so fast especially now that it’s already September. I’m sure that some of us start planning already for the upcoming Christmas season. Preparing what Christmas decorations that need to decorate inside the house. And of course start planning what foods need to prepare for the Christmas Eve. Well, Christmas would never be a lot of fun without some Christmas party at home. Kids really enjoy having some party with lots of games to play and amazing prizes they receive.

Last Christmas I organized a simple kid's party. It was a big success because I can see in all their faces that they had a wonderful time. They enjoyed all the games that I prepared and guess what they were so excited when they know that the lucky winners of each game received a surprise present from me. Aside from the presents they got from me, they also receive some Christmas candy and Christmas pudding from my family. Well, it's just a simple celebration, but it gave a smile to all the kids and that's more important. The celebration was a big success, though it was so tiring, but it’s all worth it. And the best thing to relax after a busy day was to sit on a couch with a cup of tea.

I was in the mood last night to listen some old music. And like always, it feels so great that while I'm lying in my bed, then I can hear that mellow music. What a coincidence that I got a chance to meet my high school classmates at the department store here in my city. We both never heard each other after our graduation day. She continued her college in other city, while I stayed in my hometown until I graduate in college. And up to now, I'm still living in the same city, the city where I grow up and the city that I love. Anyway, like any other classmates or friends that you don't see for long, you were both so excited to update each other's life, that's how it happened to us. Time fly so fast that we even did not notice. That's what I said to my high school classmate during our short chat two weeks ago. We really don't know what happened in our life after few years. Like they said, life is a constant change and I totally agree with that Way back during high school days, we knew some classmates that were stubborn, always cutting classes and do some stupid things. As life change, from being stubborn in then class is now a professional, a police officer, a noble teacher etc.,

It feels so nice when you met some of your classmates during elementary, high school or even college. It’s like you get updated each other’s life after few years without any contact to each other. We had a great time watching the movie The Crazies. It's a mystery, Sci-fiction and thriller as the genre of movie. As we watch it, we kept wondering how and why it happened that they just got crazy, but we figure it out.

The movie was about a toxin begins to turn the residents of Ogden Marsh, Iowa into violent psychopaths, sheriff David Dutton tries to make sense of the situation while he, his wife, and two other unaffected townspeople band together in a fight for survival.

One of my cousins will be celebrating her 18th birthday next month. She’s so excited already because she will celebrate her debut together with the family and friends. Goodbye Wowowee, see you Pilipinas Win na Win

What a tearful afternoon at Wowowee today. They had to say goodbye to all the viewers because starting tomorrow no more Wowowee show anymore. That's why today, the main host of the show including Luis Manzano who temporarily replace Willie Revillame gave his speech as well. I felt so touch that they had to say goodbye because the show runs already for years and I admit that many avid viewers watch their program because they all want to be entertained. However, it's the management decision that they will replace the Wowowee to Pilipinas Win na win. The main hosts of the new noon time show are still Mariel, Vallerie, Pokwang and introducing Robin Padilla and Kris Aquino. Good luck to the new noon time show.

I'm looking for a rustic bedroom furniture

I used to have a house full with colorful furniture, nice decorations on the walls, floor, tables and cabinets. What I noticed about myself was that after a day of stress at my work I came home and didn't feel comfortable in my own house. It felt like the walls were too closed on me and that my mind was spinning around. Even in my bedroom I didn't feel really relaxed and comfortable. I found out that I felt more relaxed when I sat outside in my garden or in the park. What needed to change in my house was the furniture, I need furniture gives me a more relaxed comfortable feeling and puts my mind to rest. I started with my bedroom because this is the room that I spend most of my time in and it is also my study room. I'm planning to replace my old bedroom furniture into rustic bedroom furniture. I like this kind of furniture because I find it too unique because it's very rare to see it. Aside that it's comfortable to lay; it also makes me feel that I'm closer to nature. It helps me to relax my mind during stressful day at work.

A week ago, I was chatting with my brother through the net. He is a college student and so I asked him about his school curricular that he joins and of course his performance at school. Lately, I don't see him online because he's always busy with school and other activities. When I got a chance to chat with him, I heard so many stories about his school. My brother loves to discover new things and when he finds it interesting, he will not quit that easy, he will always try his best to know it, such as learning some musical instruments, rapping, magic tricks etc., And these past few days, one thing that makes him busy is the school activity that they have. Movie : Ice Castle - 2010

Yesterday, I got a chance to watch the new movie entitled Ice Castle. The Ice castle movie is all about ice skating figure. Oh...I enjoy watching this kind of movie, I don't know why, but I'm very fascinated with the ice skating figure. Although I don't know how to skate, but watching a movie gives me already an exciting feeling, and so I enjoy it. I remembered that I started to like ice skating figure movie when I first watched the old Ice Castle movie (1978). It caught my attention the way the lady skate, the music theme entitled "Looking through the eyes of love" and the story of the movie. After watching the movie, I started to look forward to some other ice skating figure movie and yes I did it. I guess I almost see already all the ice skating figure movie and I enjoy it. The New Ice Castle movie is a bit the same story as the old Ice Castle.

Circular saw blades

My parents house is a two storey building, but the second floor still not totally furnish. Many things that still need to finish, but can't finish it yet because lacking of financial budget. Every time my papa has some extra money, he asked my uncle, who is a carpenter, to continue it piece by piece. My papa builds that second floor for a room for rent. It has five rooms and a small kitchen space; well furnish comfort room and a balcony for relaxation.

However, these past few days, my papa and uncle were planning to continue to work the second floor again. One of my uncle’s materials that he used in working the second floor is the circular saw blades. Do you know what that is for? The circular saw is a metal disc or blade with saw teeth on the edge as well as the machine that causes the disk to spin. It is a tool for cutting wood or other materials and may be hand-held or table-mounted. It can also be used to make narrow slots (dados). Most of these saws are designed with a blade to cut wood, but may also be equipped with a blade designed to cut masonry, plastic, or metal. When you have this saw blades, then cutting the wood goes smooth and fast. Therefore, the working process is done fast.
