Bags for the little one

I'm glad that I'm home again after long hours of walking in and out in the shopping stores. I had been through many stores today and some boutiques because I'm searching for a nice present that I could give to my little niece. But so far, I didn't see any nice things that my niece would like to have. Well, she likes toys but djeee.. she has many toys already at home, in fact, my sister don't know where to put all of her toys. I think she has too much of toys. So this time, I want to give something else and not a toy. Some useful things that she can use when she goes to school.

Anyway, after my window shopping, I went to the hotel to make a final reservation for our family day out at the swimming pool. I did a short tour in their garden before I left the hotel. I'm fascinated with their garden because it looks so beautiful. Well the dallas lawn care maintain their garden's beauty.

When I arrived from home, directly I turn on my laptop to check some online birthday presents. For just few minutes of searching, gotcha! I found this personalized tote bags and kids backpacks. My little nephew will be celebrating his birthday this coming May. He is very vocal already about his upcoming birthday. He will turn 4 years old and by June, he will go to school already. He kept saying to everyone here at home that after his birthday then the next month he goes to school already. He sounds very excited in going to school for the very first time. His birthday still few weeks to go, but I'm already searching what birthday presents that I give to him. I mostly give him some toys during his birthday and Christmas time, but for a change this time, I want something different. I want to give him some stuff that he can use in going to school. Well, school supplies such as notebooks, pencils are very common and they can easily buy that everywhere. My blog was active already for more than a year and still I never got a chance to purchase my own domain name. Many of my friends encourage me already to have one, but I never got a chance to sit down and does my domain search. I've been busy most of the time and when I got a chance to do nothing then mostly I relax, until I don't remember anymore about purchasing my own domain.

Lately, when my friends and I did a conference through yahoo messenger, one of their topics was about blogging and discussing about their own domain site. I feel I'm out of place about domain because I never got a chance to have. However, upon listening to their conversation, it opt me to purchase now my own domain because of the advantages of owning your own domain. I heard many positive feedback of having my own domain. So I got excited to have one and planning to purchase it soon. I just need time to do my own domain name search.

My younger brother is now in for recording his rap music. In fact, he made few recordings already in some local bands in the city. He likes joining some FM radio contest in connection to his talent, which is singing. He joined some clubs in some FM station in city that build some friendship in some DJ's at the station. Keep going in those stations is now the bridge that he can record some songs that he composed. HE started to know how to use it and started to familiarize what DJ use. One time, he was invited by his clan mates to join their disco. They promise that they free my brother for the disco's entrance, so without any doubt, he agreed. And there, the music was loud, but it's nice to listen on their earns. Music played was all nice that makes me dance and groove. And he noticed what the DJ use while the disco is going on. It's a m-audio fast track ultra 8r that he saw on the net. He was amazed, the mixing of the music was really great. And it can record multiple sources simultaneously.

Blinds for my window

My windows in my room is too low that is very easy to reach by kids. Mostly if I open my jealousy windows, then kids get curious what stuff I have in my room. Sometimes they check if I play some computer games or so. It irritate me that they keep watching my room, that's the reason I often close my windows. My cousin came through my room and he complained that it's warm and asked me why I did not open my window. So I explain to him the reason and he understands it. He suggested to me that better I use a blinds that will cover up my window. So if I open my window, there some blinds that covers up. Therefore, kids cannot easily see through the inside of my room. My cousin's idea was good and now I'm looking for a Cheap Vertical Blinds that I can put on my window. Hopefully I can find it soon.

Last week, I was busy surfing through the net some online stuff that I want purchase. I enjoy doing some online shopping because I find it so easy and handy. No more hassle waiting in a long line cashier especially at this time that Christmas season is almost approaching. I sometimes buy some stuff in the other side of the world and I always calculate it in the currency that I use. And recently, I came across an online store that sell shoes. Wow! I’m fasciated with the shoes they have and I’m so lucky that they have my size. I mostly have some problems in buying shoes here in the store because my 35 size is difficult to find. It looks so ugly if I buy a sandal which doesn’t fit on my size. The shoes that I like cost in pound and I don’t know it by head how much I pay if I buy it using my euro currency. Luckily, there are sites that can calculate from Pound to Euro in just few seconds. Now I know I much I need to spend in euro in purchasing the shoes that I like.

A friend of mine who used to be my high school and college classmates had a long talked on the phone yesterday. We both got an e-mail from one of our classmates in High school who organize the upcoming reunion of our batch. And so we both discuss if we can attend it at that time. Since both of us are living in the other city, so we both can't promise if we can join. However, if I'm given a chance, then I would love to join the reunion. I miss my high school classmates and that's the online time that we can hang up together. I encourage my friend too that she would join because the previous reunion that we had, she's not there. At least for me, I was present in the first and second reunion, but it would be a lot of fun if there are many classmates that would join.

Aside in talking about the reunion, my classmates told me about her recent experience when they went on the boat holiday in Europe. She had a wonderful time and she enjoyed it a lot. She encouraged me too to try it with my husband. So I just see, her story and experience seems very interesting. So maybe I will ask my husband that we spend some time to do some boat holiday.

Acoustic guitar lesson

Most of the time, I heard my younger brother playing his guitar. I really likes it when he played his guitar because I enjoy listening it. Mostly he played some well-known love songs and it's so great to listen especially at night. It's so quiet and the only music I hear is the acoustic guitar that my younger brother played. My brother has many talents and one of the talents that he loves most is playing guitars. In the family, he is the only one who can play some musical instruments. I remembered that he started to like some musical instrument when my papa bought a guitar. It's not really for him, but for the whole family. However, he was the one who got interest to learn on how to play it. Months passed by, my sister and I are planning to enroll an acoustic guitar lessons. We just can't start to learn because we are both busy. So when things goes smooth and easy with our schedules then for sure we can start to enroll already.

One of the movie that I look forward to watch before end of this month is the "My Amnesia Girl". The main cast of this movie is Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz. It's their first time to be on the movie together. So I'm excited to see them on the big screen.

My flight from Philippines to Holland took about 13 hours, phu., long hours isn't it? Well, those long hours I spent on playing some games and of course watching some movies. One of the movies I watched was is "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". Hubby was next to me and he encouraged me to watch that because it's a good movie. He saw the movie already and so he knows that its a good one. A movie that he can recommend not just to me, but to anyone. After watching the movie, I can say that yeah, hubby was right, it's a good movie. My time wasn't waste in watching because I had a great time.

Two days ago, we watched the movie entitled "The Last Exorcism" at the cinema. Hubby and I did not check it through the net what kind of movie it was, we only watch the poster. It looks scary in the poster and so we think the movie was scary too. However, when we watched it, we were disappointed because it's something that we did not expect. We thought it's a movie with many actions, but it some sort of documentary. Not much action, but it's more on talking.

Bedroom furniture

Hubby and I are planning to renovate our room, making it nicer than before. I feel so excited with this plan because I know after renovating we will do some changes in our room. We are planning to buy a new bedroom furniture to replace the old one that that we have. The old bedroom furniture that we have is already few years old. We notice that it's not nice and not comfortable anymore to use. And so we come up to an idea to replace it with new furniture. It takes long for us to decide what kind of furniture that we like. There are many kinds of bedroom furniture that you can buy in some store, but none of them that we like most. We want something to be unique, something that it makes us feel that we are having a vacation in a tropical place. Rustic furniture is one of the best furniture that we like most. I'm so happy that again, I became part of the family vacation of my in-laws. Hubby and I were invited to join their vacation a few months ago. We went to the southern part of NL to visit some tourist spots. We rent a house that we can use for the whole week of stay. It's such a good place that we stayed because it's so quiet and the only thing you heard was the singing of the birds. Isn't that a good feeling that when you woke up in the morning, you don't hear the noise of cars or trucks. It's far from the main highway so it's really nice, very relaxing feeling. I'm just enjoying the overlooking view of the mountain. Anyway, we did a lot of activity in our vacation, we go there and everywhere that was close by to us. Every day new things to do and so when we're back home it's was so tiring already. So we just took some rest using some outdoor chairs that the house provided with us. We sit outside the house and just enjoying the overlooking view, waiting until the sunset came. We can sit in that chair for long because it's very comfortable.

My uncle who has been working for many years in a construction encountered some problems in his power tools. Some of it did not function so well and it bothered him because it's the hindrance in his work. Well, for sure if we encountered this kind of problem, it also starts to annoy us. Luckily last week, he finally got a new power tools and it made him so happy. He can start working again. Everything goes smooth and easy. Few months to go then its Christmas time again. Wow, time fly so fast especially now that it’s already September. I’m sure that some of us start planning already for the upcoming Christmas season. Preparing what Christmas decorations that need to decorate inside the house. And of course start planning what foods need to prepare for the Christmas Eve. Well, Christmas would never be a lot of fun without some Christmas party at home. Kids really enjoy having some party with lots of games to play and amazing prizes they receive.

Last Christmas I organized a simple kid's party. It was a big success because I can see in all their faces that they had a wonderful time. They enjoyed all the games that I prepared and guess what they were so excited when they know that the lucky winners of each game received a surprise present from me. Aside from the presents they got from me, they also receive some Christmas candy and Christmas pudding from my family. Well, it's just a simple celebration, but it gave a smile to all the kids and that's more important. The celebration was a big success, though it was so tiring, but it’s all worth it. And the best thing to relax after a busy day was to sit on a couch with a cup of tea.

I used to have a house full with colorful furniture, nice decorations on the walls, floor, tables and cabinets. What I noticed about myself was that after a day of stress at my work I came home and didn't feel comfortable in my own house. It felt like the walls were too closed on me and that my mind was spinning around. Even in my bedroom I didn't feel really relaxed and comfortable. I found out that I felt more relaxed when I sat outside in my garden or in the park. What needed to change in my house was the furniture, I need furniture gives me a more relaxed comfortable feeling and puts my mind to rest. I started with my bedroom because this is the room that I spend most of my time in and it is also my study room. I'm planning to replace my old bedroom furniture into rustic bedroom furniture. Yesterday, I got a chance to watch the new movie entitled Ice Castle. The Ice castle movie is all about ice skating figure. Oh...I enjoy watching this kind of movie, I don't know why, but I'm very fascinated with the ice skating figure. Although I don't know how to skate, but watching a movie gives me already an exciting feeling, and so I enjoy it. I remembered that I started to like ice skating figure movie when I first watched the old Ice Castle movie (1978). It caught my attention the way the lady skate, the music theme entitled "Looking through the eyes of love" and the story of the movie. After watching the movie, I started to look forward to some other ice skating figure movie and yes I did it. I guess I almost see already all the ice skating figure movie and I enjoy it. The New Ice Castle movie is a bit the same story as the old Ice Castle.

My parents house is a two storey building, but the second floor still not totally furnish. Many things that still need to finish, but can't finish it yet because lacking of financial budget. Every time my papa has some extra money, he asked my uncle, who is a carpenter, to continue it piece by piece. My papa builds that second floor for a room for rent. It has five rooms and a small kitchen space; well furnish comfort room and a balcony for relaxation.

However, these past few days, my papa and uncle were planning to continue to work the second floor again. One of my uncle’s materials that he used in working the second floor is the circular saw blades. Do you know what that is for? The circular saw is a metal disc or blade with saw teeth on the edge as well as the machine that causes the disk to spin. Movie marathon while im in the plane

Movie : The Blind Side

I heard this movie before, but I never got a chance to watch it due to hectic schedule of mine. However, while I'm on the way to the Netherlands, it was a long flight that took 14 hours from Manila to Amsterdam and one way to leisure myself is to watch some movies or to play some games in their TV screen. There were many movies in the list, but I started to watch this movie called the The Blind Side. I was curious why the titled called blind, I thought it's about the person who is/are blind or so, but I was wrong. The movie was great that leave a good moral lesson. That puberty is not the hindrance to reach your goal in life.

What a tiring day that I had today because I've been busy exploring the mall here in Cebu. I explore alone because I grab the chance that while I'm still here, then I can use my time to do something. However, my main purpose for my visit here in Cebu is something personal and not just exploring the place. But what a coincidence that I met my high school classmate in some café here at the mall, wow, it was a long time I never saw her and still we both remember each other's name. After updating each other's life, we came to the point to discuss some free software download that both of us synchronize. Since she works in the internet café, so she's knowledgeable enough than me because I don't know much about computer software or so. She gave me some tips and idea on how I can take my laptop and at the same time, gave some information about some well-known games that she knows. It sounds interesting as she describes to me, I look forward that I can play at least some of the games that she mentioned.

Vision problem

Mostly of my sisters have a blurry vision and I'm happy that I reach at this age and I never experience to have some blurry vision at all. I remembered my older sisters, when they reach about 18 - 22 year old, they experience already having some blurry vision. And so my parents’ was force to bring them to the optical clinic to get an eye wear. An eyewear can serve either to protect the eyes from the elements or to aid a person's vision. Since they have some problem with their eyes, my parents get that glasses that will help them to have a better vision. No more complains anymore that they can't see clearly or it's blurry for them to see some things. Although I don't wear glasses because I have a better vision, I still wear some eye wear that protects me from the sun rays and dust. Our eyes are very important, so we should take care for it. Wearing sunglasses is one way to protect our eyes from other elements.

My brother's friend is a movie addict. Every time that there's a new movie in the cinema that he thinks that it's very interesting, he doesn't miss to watch that in the big screen. And he always shared to us about the movie and gave a comments and conclusion about it. Sometimes he likes the movie so much, but sometimes he will say that it's a bit boring, not much action or so. I noticed it that he wants to be updated on the latest movie that release in the cinema and start to look forward already for the upcoming movies. However, last two weeks ago, he was so eager to watch an old movie that he missed to watch before. But sad to say that it's not in the cinema anymore, so he's looking an alternative way to watch that movie and he came up with the idea to search the movie through the net. So when he visited here at home, he had a big smile already and informed to us that his done watching the movie and he enjoyed it so much.

A few days ago, the PBB (Pinoy Big brother) big five was proclaimed. Out of more than 20 housemates, only five housemates remained. I'm an avid fan of a reality show here in the Philippines called PBB or Pinoy Big brother. It runs on TV for about four months already I think. As I keep watching the show, I often hear this song entitled "Its Gonna Make Sense." I started to like it when I first heard it because it's very meaningful and it fits in the show. The song became known here already and it plays in the FM station sometimes. When I’m inside my room and I heard this song in the living room, then I directly run out in my room and just listen to that song in the living room. Later, I found out that it's to hassle to wait and wait on the FM station because I'm not in control on the time that they play the song. So I decide to do some Music Search and I'm very happy that for just few minutes in searching, I finally found it so quick at rapidshare search engine, a useful search engine that helps you to download some music, games, movies and many more. Now, I can play this music any time, any day. No more waiting anymore and just enjoy the time that I can listen with all the music that I like.

The Finale of May Bukas Pa

Yesterday was the finale of the Filipino series called, May Bukas Pa. May Bukas Pa was aired at ABS-CBN and it was running on TV for a year I guess. It's one of the inspiring series that I enjoyed to watch, it's not just because I got entertained by Santino, (the wonder boy in the series) but it also gave moral lesson in everyone's lives. It's a series that sometimes gave me teary eyes every time I watch it because of the story that touches my heart. And as the finale yesterday, it was really a heart warming ending, something unique, but you come up with a conclusion. Everyone at home, we thought that Santino died, after the incident that happened to him. And the finale trailer, it also appeared that the whole village people were mourning because of his "death". As we watched yesterday, there's twist on the story, therefore, Santino was alive and that's what makes a story happy ending because he is back again in this world where all the people who love and care are waiting.

Therefore, if it's really not our time to leave in this wonderful world, God will send us back to continue our respective mission in life. Life is a wonderful gift that is given to us by God, we should be thankful and enjoy it. And in everything that happened in our lives, God has a reason for it and probably he has another plan for us. Like Santino said: "huwag mawalan ng pag-asa" (never lose hope) because God is always there for us.

Watching Movie : Step Up

I didn't do much yesterday so I decide to watch the movie entitled STEP UP. The main cast of the movie is Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. I considered Step Up as one of my favorite movies because it is romantic and it includes dancing, which I enjoyed to watch. Dancing is not my passion, but I salute those people who can dance really well because they have this fascinating talent that not everyone can have it. Though I'm not a ballerina like Jenna, but watching people who can perform some dance or ballet, makes me happy already.

Summary of the movie:

An aspiring ballerina from a wealthy family learns some lessons about both dancing and life from a roughneck with soul in this teen drama. Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) grew up on the wrong side of the tracks in a rough section of Baltimore, and has been in and out of trouble with the law most of his life. Finding himself before the judge yet again, Tyler is sentenced to 200 hours of community service, and he ends up mopping floors at the Maryland School of the Arts. Tyler catches the eye of Nora (Jenna Dewan), a gifted ballet student who is trying to incorporate hip-hop moves into her classical routines. None of Nora's fellow students seem to be on the same page as her, but Tyler is a talented street dancer with strength, moves, and enthusiasm. Despite the misgivings of the school's administrators, Nora persuades Tyler to team up with her for a major class project. Tyler gains a new self-respect as he gives in to the discipline of the dance academy, but he wonders if this new opportunity means turning his back on who he really is. Matters become all the more complicated when Tyler and Nora realize they're falling in love.

The Ending of BOF

Yesterday was the ending of BOF or known as Boys Over Flower, a Korean series that hit in the Philippines. I was so happy and super “kilig” when I saw the finale of this series because it’s very nice and it’s happy ending. Finally the 2 lovers, namely Jandi and Jun Pyo end up with full of love and trust, believing that at the end they will still be together and it happened. After all the rains that pour over in their relationship, it follows with a beautiful sunshine that brightens up their day again. These lovers encountered lots of trials in their relationship but they never gave up.

Therefore, if you love someone, you’re willing to sacrifice for the sake of the relationship. And if you are meant for each other, no matter how far the distance, it will not be the hindrance of the relationship because love will find a way that it end with a happy ending.

Jackson's Choreographer Teaches Dancing the Filipino Inmates

Cebu Provincial Detention And Rehabilitation Center or (CPDRC) in the Philippines performed the Michael Jackson dance steps. Payne, who worked with Jackson for more than 10 years, was able to take their performance to new heights. Their rendition of Jackson's "They Don't Really Care About Us" is comparable to the scene in "This Is It." He teaches the Jackson dance steps to almost 1500 inmates in Cebu and it’s such a great performance. In fact, it gives pride to all the Filipino people that Payne chooses CPDRC to train this Michael Jackson dance steps. Payne spent two hours on Sun., Jan. 17, and Mon., Jan. 18, teaching the dancers the routines from Jackson's posthumous "This Is It" film.

"The Drill" is the last scene Payne and Jackson worked on together before the pop icon died in June. The clip was released over the weekend, days before the Tues., Jan. 26 release of the "This Is It" DVD.

The "This Is It" version is a highlight of the film. It features a group of dancers who were digitally replicated to appear as an army. Payne's work with the CPDRC men brought this virtual sequence to real life.

Paano na kaya is a Filipino movie that will be shown on cinema starting tomorrow. The main cast of this movie are Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson or known as KimeRald, the combination of their names. As I see the trailer of the movie, I got interested with it because it's about love and friendship. The story revolves around two people who cross the line from being friends to being a couple. Kim's character is touted to be a rebound girl since Gerald's character broke up with his previous girlfriend (portrayed by Melissa Ricks)

When we love someone, we don't choose to whom we fall in love and sometimes it happened that we fall in love with our best friend and that's the movie all about. But how can you tell to the person or to your best friend that you have a feeling to him if you know that he has someone special. So it a bit confusing, there some fear that maybe the friendship might end or it will grow more and create something special feeling. Try to put yourself in this situation, how will you handle this kind of problem.

After a temporary suspension of Showtime, the cast and stuff of the program temporarily replace Magpasikat as the title of the show. It’s a bit the same as showtime, still very entertaining. As supporter of the show, I still enjoy and continue watching the show. The difference between Magpasikat and Showtime are the contestants who will show their talent are some well-known celebrities while the Showtime, ordinary people has given a chance to show their talent on TV. Additional to Magpasikat is the game that they draw lots from the audience, which is good because they give chance to the audience that they can win 20k per group.

The showtime program that I often watch every morning at ABS-CBN has been suspended by the MTRCB (Movie and Television Review and Classification Board) due to Rosana Rocess comment. Roces has been axed as one of "Showtime's" judges after taking potshots at school teachers during the program's January 7 episode.

I saw this program on TV and when I heard her comment about teachers, of course I feel sad because not all the teachers are like that. No one is perfect in this world, and we admit that sometimes we also made some mistakes, even those people who are a higher position in their life, they made some mistakes too.

Kuya, the Big Brother is back

It was a few days ago that the Pinoy Big Bother has been replaced to Pinoy Big Utol, and if you don't know, I share to you a short detail about it. When Kuya, the big brother in the PBB house got sick for some reason that he was over stressed, it's his brother who takes over in the house. Although Kuya was not in the house for few days, there's someone who replaced him that will guide and gave some task to the housemates. The big utol was totally different from his brother, he is more "rakista" and the voice is more "astig" if we compare to big brother.

Yesterday, kuya, the big brother was back, and it gave a smile to all the housemates because they missed him. Well, they had a great time with big utol's company, but according to them, kuya is the best because they used to it already. As a viewer it makes me happy too that big brother is back, and good to know that he is okay again.

Char Char change in PBB

The PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) update for this week is the new policy in voting called the Char Char Change. When I heard this char char change, I wondered already what will happen inside the PBB house. And just yesterday, the main host of the PBB announced what this char char change. The char char change is the new policy that big brother implemented in the PBB housemates. Through this policy the voting for the housemates that will be evicted will not come from the viewer text vote, but from the people inside the big brother house. However, let's try to know more what Char Char Change is. The char char change was taken from the word char, it's an expression that not just the housemates who usually used, but even other people as well. The char means joking or not taking it seriously, therefore, the Char char change policy is just a joke. The voting system still the same which comes from the viewers text vote and not from the respective housemates. Big brother implements this new policy to test the housemates on how they deal with one another, if there are some changes on how they deal with one another or not.
